The Grand Canyon

While I was in Arizona, I takk a trip to the Grand Canyon. There was also a beautiful sunset right before we left and I managed to get a few shots.

Montezuma's Castle

A cliff dwelling near Sedona. Despite the name, Montezuma had nothing to do with this dwelling.

Meteor Crater

Also know as Barringer Meteorite Crater. It is almost a mile wide and 570 feet deep. It is estimated that it was created 50,000 years ago by a meteorite about 150 feet across weighing 300,000 tons. The force from such an explosion would be equivalent to 20 million tons of TNT. For more information you can check this site out.
