Observing Log for Mike Durkin 5/19/2007 about 8:00 PM Orlando, Florida Transparency: 9/10, seeing: ??/10 about 70-80 degrees naked eye On vacation in Florida. This evening, Venus and the moon were near a conjuctions, maybe about a degreee or so apart. The moon was a thin crescent, may be about 20% illuminated, and Venus was very bright.
